These are some of the initial sample images of the characters. They all have a unique style, which made it a tough choice. We eventually went with Seyi Kolawole's version because of the resemblance to modern African art. We loved Lorenzo's cartooney style, Carolina's anime style and Anton's dramatic style. Jeff's realistic style was so impressive that we got him to do most of the strips. Veronica's almost superhero style was very close to being chosen for the final design so we asked her to do a couple strips and the logo. We hope to one day have the opportunity to contact these guys again for some bigger and better things.
