February 4th, 2005 Stevie Wonder was blinded almost from birth, most likely due to an excess of oxygen while in the incubator. Despite this handicap, he learned to play the piano, drums and the harmonica by age 9, and recorded his first hit "Fingertips" by age 13. He was also instrumental in getting a holiday implemented for Martin Luther King Jr. when he recorded the birthday tribute to Dr. King.
